Fathia Lutfiananda is a third-year PhD student in Volcanology-Geography at the University of Edinburgh. Her research focuses on understanding how communities experience the risks posed by pyroclastic density currents (PDCs) and how disaster mitigation and evacuation strategies can be improved.
